Lilly Pilly
Appropriately named after the Lilly Pilly (or Lilli Pilli) tree, this Sutherland Shire suburb is one of the most child friendly, far enough removed from the busy main street of Cronulla yet close enough to be in easy reach.
Lilli Pilli is perched on the Port Hacking estuary with stunning views across the water to the National Park and Little Turriel Bay. Real estate is much sought after in the area, which consists of a wide selection of solid freestanding brick homes and magnificent waterfronts. Many of the large homes offer water views and some even direct access to the water.
For a suburb offering complete privacy, there are just enough shops and restaurants to cater for your every need. The cluster of shops on Port Hacking road provides a quaint café, beauty salon, butcher, newsagent and bottle shop.
