Waterfront with a pool and $11 million renovation 

Philanthropist Marcelle Carr has put her palatial home in Seaforth on the market with a price guide of about $25 million.

Carr purchased the six-bedroom, six-bathroom property with pool and spa deck for $8.55 million in 2012 from eyewear importer Joseph Pascali, records show, and lived in it for seven years with her family before embarking on an $11 million renovation.

She has mixed emotions, but has decided to sell and downsize, as the last of her children left home three years ago.

Carr enlisted residential design agency Your Beautiful Home, Signature Building and Space Landscape Designs to upgrade the four-storey split home with a luxurious fit-out. Click the link for more - Sydney Morning Herald
