Around 90 per cent of homes in Bangor are owner-occupied making it a suburb appealing to many families. Bangor is also home to a range of schools, including the public and private primary schools Bangor Public School and Inaburra School, that both provide a curriculum from kindergarten through to year 12, along with a number of other reputable high schools in the district.
