Heathcote

Heathcote is one of the oldest suburbs in the Sutherland Shire and still boasts some stunning Federation homes from the 1880’s. After a wave of development at the turn of the last century, many freestanding cottages were built making it a highly sought after area for families.

Like most other Sutherland Shire suburbs, Heathcote caters to young family needs. A total of six parks reside in the area and this tiny suburb provides many educational options, including four schools and one childcare centre.

There are a small group of shops conveniently located on the Princes Highway that includes a grocery store. Or residents have easy access to a larger group of shops in the neighbouring suburb of Engadine.
